Hydraulic man hole lifters are used to lift heavy duty man holes which have not been moved in a long time. This hydraulic equipment makes it easy for us to move the covers and make them more accessible for the future.
For the trickier and larger pipes, we also have our mobile tractor cam which is connected to a video receiver so we can see exactly what is going on. We use the Tractor cam for larger pipes - 12" culverts and upwards. It is a highly technical process which uses from 100mm diameter up to 250mm diameter.
This is a specialized feature of the work we perform. It requires reification and all our employees attend regular courses. They learn to use confined space access equipment and detect gas, both of which are compulsory.
